What is wrong with elder nursing home services and home health care for the aged?

HHH services, I would not recommend to my worst enemy! Workers in the HHH and the Hebrew Home is very rude and unpleasant. They treat their patients as they were in prison, they stay in their rooms all day long quiet under heavy medication of patients. In both, the Hebrew Home and health programs for abuse and neglect of their patients they care sucks, and poor hygiene - dirty clothes, diapers, etc. household services is irresponsible to allow some of the phone and watch. They come to the patient at home and in most cases not even know her work well. You are not cooking, they are not cleaned properly, some come with a bad attitude because they are very, very measly pay. They sit their ass watching TV and down. Furthermore. One problem after another, including sloppy carelessness and lack of oversight on behalf of employers and supervisors, internal organs and nursing homes run Who hires these people? Why are they still in business? You answered your own question, they are very, very pitiful wages. You usually get what you pay for. They are hired by people trying to get as much money as possible by paying as little as possible. You know. Normal businessmen. Why are they still in business? Since the lower prices, something that can do this by paying very low wages. This is the default capitalism at work. Contact the Better Business Bureau and information on the state licensing authority and compliance with the inspection industry. Perhaps the inspectors are paid or as bad as the employees. Hey, great post! I love everything about business, primarily marketing and advertising sections. These things make or break a company. I have found many ways to market my business that can help. If you have a website, try SEO and PPC (pay per click Google Adwords). If you advertise your business online, try to distribute flyers, printing coupons, advertising and yellow pages) The best solution I've found yet is to buy business cards and hand is always reasons why. I buy them somewhere online that offer free greeting cards and only charges for shipping. I give them to everyone I know and put me in the car wherever you go Http (also I have a business card holder is really awesome free!): / / Www.cards-free-to-mi- bis.info Take care and good luck with your business! do not care.

Home Health Care Services through DORS?

My mother is disabled and has a caregiver in the home for a few hours each day I live in another city, but I have classes in their town once a week and on weekends when I have used to bring her food and help, if I "m & I usually stay with her at the weekends because its near my school. attendants in the home that she no longer wishes to work over the weekend that shes a private employment that pays more. My question was I hired by Dors be their consultant for the weekend? It would be 10 hours in total? Or am I not qualified to be their help because I live with her part-time? e live in Illinois. Is there a website where I read about what is and what is not allowed for personal home care? I think you get a permission to have a minimum of CNA. Also by law, you can not be together on your own mother for these services. The same goes for doctors not allowed to conduct operations on their own children, etc.I think she has Medicaid and Medicare for about a year, it introduced a new policy - if you are eligible for care at home - you can choose who to hire, even a family member.that person should be the definition of "qualified" qualified human resources is clear and can be varies.it 18 years / school first aid can diploma.it course.you / cpr.it perhaps a CNA training may have to do a little self-education in management, so this law that the doctors can "import FOR FAMILY.and law specifically says that a member may be a doctor fmaily paid.

Can anyone who is a home attendent/home health aid please tell me about there jobs?

Can someone tell a Home Companion / home health, can you help me from the job? and like the feeling of payment, and if there are places where you can pay a lot to take care of people who are seniors with homes they want to pay more and if so, do I need a nurse I work u just need some info please someone in fact, in my experience in home care paid less than nursing homes. Most CNA or PCA describing function is pretty simple. They do not have the policies, a hospital or nursing home. (Or a 15 + Resident Mission), please CNA typical things like taking a shower, get dressed and make it the vital signs of a person. You can also do housekeeping and cooking for them. There is something to behold. It will not be for everyone though. They do not pay enough money they pay you and your BS as much as they do, you pay $ 8.50 to $ 10.00, or 11 if you like your turn. one of my family has a living,,,, 740 a week cash.24/7.not hard, but you do not own your life.

Home health care aides?

How long is training for a home health aide? educated, while the individual as well get paid for their education in the job? http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos173.htm There are some great blogs in these two areas with resources for home care. http://www.myinhomehealth.com http://www.homehealthseniorcare.com I am a CNA home health and I have not paid for training. God bless! Home health aides do not require certification. If you work for an agency to provide job training. I think this would be paid on time. The disadvantage is that home care workers do not pay enough in CT they paid $ 7.50.

Protocol/Etiquette for Home Health Care workers and End of Life Care.?

Hi-My grandmother died 24 hours after five years of home care. Is there a protocol or etiquette for the recognition of their work? Is there a tipping standard? Have a property to offer something? My aunt (executrix) did their job, so no tip needed. I find it strange when they ask for specific things, like that scene from "A Christmas Carol" when they pick over the corpse of Scrooge. But they had my grandmother for a few years extra quality advice. Possible sources is appreciated. I do not really know what is considered "right" in a case like this. Do people care for your grandmother to be near her until she went from the beginning? In that case, I see that they are probably very close to her, and would probably consider a memorial to a very sweet and sentimental gesture. I have worked with the elderly, and often as my own family. These people should certainly be praised, in some way to everything you have done for her grandmother, not everyone can do this type of work, and see many of them that make more than "just a job" Well, your grandmother what extent they are paid to do their job. But five years of service is also a time esp. if you have the same health worker every week. E 'to you, if you want to give a gift. If you feel the service was quite exceptional in every way to give them something they see fit, but I do not think it should. Depending on the situation. If it were always the same one or two people and did a great job in taking care of his grandmother, and truly "cured", then the family may feel compelled to "thank" monetarily. If it were always different people cared about and worked for a company health care in the home, then I agree with her aunt, because they were doing their Jobs.ie Only you know how much went over the joints, to name Hernot ~ take care how big or small their property. Hope this helped a gift is always appreciated. Do not forget to have a safe home care for their patients and feel the loss of a special friend. The gift is not money but have to be personal, perhaps an item that was special to the deceased. Under no circumstances should a home care or prayer asking for money or gifts. This gesture is entirely up to leave family and should reflect the wishes of the deceased. Depending on the degree of relationship with caregivers, I would like to thank a small gift and a handwritten note to them for their service and their friendliness. Tell us what you have said that they have your grandmother extra life and extra quality given to those years. Gift Ideas: A potted plant - I think that hibiscus are nice because they are easy to care for flowers and plants.
